Privacy Policy

Introduction
Everything Tools is built privacy-first. This policy explains, in plain terms, what little information the platform handles when you use it. By using Everything Tools, you accept the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We collect as little as possible — there are no accounts and no logins.
- Tool input: Most tools run entirely in your browser, so the files and text you work with never reach our servers. A few tools call an external service through our server to get around browser limits — that request is forwarded to the provider and is not stored by us.
- On-device settings: Small preferences are saved in your browser's local storage — your theme, language, custom tool order, recent searches, and your temporary-mail session. These stay on your device and you can clear them anytime.
- Data you create: The URL Shortener saves the links you generate in our database so they can resolve later. We also keep anonymous, aggregate counts of how often each tool is opened to power the “Popular” section — these are not linked to you.
- Feature requests: If you submit the Request a Feature form, the details you enter (and an optional email, if you add one) are sent to our private team channel so we can review your idea.
Third-Party Services
Some tools depend on external providers to do their job — for example exchange-rate data, brand logos, or breach lookups. When you use one of those tools, your request (such as a domain or an email address you choose to check) is sent to the relevant provider to return results. The platform is hosted on Vercel and uses Supabase for the small amount of data it stores. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Cookies & Analytics
We don't use tracking cookies, advertising, or third-party analytics. The only things stored on your device are the functional preferences described above, kept in local storage rather than cookies.
Data Security
We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the limited data the platform stores. That said, no method of transmitting or storing data online is ever completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
As the platform grows, this policy may be updated. Any changes will be posted on this page with a refreshed “Last updated” date.
